Sarepta Women and Children Empowerment Center in its Local Community Food Delivery Initiative

Updated: Mar 30, 2023

Dear Friends, Collaborators, and Supporters,

This global pandemic COVID-19 has challenged us to our core. With a lack of community food strategy, food security - or food (in)security - has brought communities to their knees and left exposed our vulnerability from food logistics to food access. Sarepta Women and Children Empowerment Center in its Local Community Food Delivery Initiative has collaborated with its partners and local farms provided and delivered healthy foods and meals to households and families in needs during the pandemic twice a week to more than a hundred families. This work is enormous but rewarding for we are ensuring healthy communities and no household should go without foods. Please engage and support us in continuing this work in our communities.
